Keenan's office building is located on F.A.A. property and every 10 years or so they sponsor a Family Fun Day. It was originally scheduled for a few weeks ago, but had to be postponed to this past Saturday due to rain. This worked out so well as Keenan's parents had planned a visit for this weekend and got to join in on the fun and see where Keenan works!
There were 4 bounce houses, paper airplanes to decorate, glitter tattoos, cotton candy, sno cones, hamburgers and hot dogs. We had the place almost to ourselves for the first 1.5 hours as most people didn't show up until closer to lunch time. The kids bounced themselves silly only stopping long enough for potty breaks and because we insisted they eat lunch. We had them come check out Keenan's office since we typically aren't allowed past the heavily guarded gates of the property. This proved to be torture for Keira who just wanted to bounce! On our way out we checked out the control room, but couldn't stay too long as Keira was upset once again and the controllers were, you know, trying to talk to pilots and such.
It seems the majority of the pictures I took were of the kids on the bounce houses. I guess that just shows how we spent our time!

It was having a private party! We had a great time watching the kids have fun, and it was a treat to get to see where Keenan works. Maybe in ten years we can do another tour!
Looks like loads of fun!!
