Happy Halloween!
It's been Halloween-palooza for us this week. Ari had his "Fall Party" (a.k.a. Halloween Party) at school Monday. He didn't want to put his full costume on, but I think only half the kids in his class dressed up anyway. Wednesday night we had a little party during home group. Ari was the only one not dressed up - he was saying "no" to everything and I didn't have the energy to wrangle him into his costume and fight him on it. I put Keira in a little pumpkin outfit we're borrowing from the Grays, but of course I forgot to take a pic :( Tomorrow night we're going to trick-or-treat just a few neighbors then head to a carnival with some friends. Ari will be in his costume for that! Saturday night we're hosting our annual party then Halloween will officially be over for us.

I Tagged
I am- a mommy of two little ones
I want- a good night's sleep
I have- a beautiful and loving family (including extended members)
I wish- we didn't have to work anymore
I hate- doing the dishes
I fear- the unknown
I hear- the hum of the computer
I search- for new quick, but yummy recipes
I wonder- what Ari and Keira will be like when they're older
I always- drink coffee in the morning
I usually- go to bed around 10
I am not- doing what I planned to do tonight
I dance- with Ari
I sing- my babies to sleep
I never- skip dessert
I rarely- sneeze only once
I cry- when I'm really stressed out
I am not always- patient with my children
I lose- my thoughts these days
I’m confused- about the local propositions. Are they trying to trick me into voting for something I shouldn't?
I need- a maid
I should- wrap this up and go to bed
I dream- crazy dreams lately
I TAG- Sally, Kelsey, Darci

Overdue Update
Things have been busy around the Roach house since my last post. I honestly can't remember what we've been doing, but I know it's been keeping me from posting! Here are a few things I've been meaning to update on for a while now:
* I officially resigned from being a structural engineer for now.
* My blood pressure has been running high (borderline, but high). I've been monitoring it at home and my readings have been normal. I have a check-up next Wednesday.
* Keira is now 3 months old and is as cute as ever. She loves to smile and coo, but definitely lets us know when she's not happy.
* Ari continues to get smarter and cuter everyday and we're all feeling our way through the "terrible twos"
* Thursday we hit the road for our first trip of the year to Wichita. The car ride there and back was a little rough with Keira and Ari had trouble sleeping at a new place, but overall we had a great time. You can read and see more about it at Yia Yia's House and The Gray Area.
I need to get myself to bed while I can so I'll leave you with some pictures from our weekend travels and hope that my next post won't be so far away! :)
I almost forgot one other update...after a 1/2 day of "bottle boot camp" Keira now takes a bottle once a day without complaint! Yeah :)
