T-Ball Tourney & Trophies

Last week our t-ball season came to a close.  Starting in Ari's division, they participate in a play-off/tournament after their last game.  Ari's team made it all the way to the championship game and won 2nd place trophies!  I never thought I'd get so stressed out and into 6 year old t-ball!  Keira's last game was scheduled for the same day as the tournament so we ended up watching 3 t-ball games in one day!  My parents had planned a visit for the weekend before we knew Ari would be in the tournament.  It was an added bonus they were able to watch him play.  What a great end to a great season!

Progress

9 months in our new house and I'm finally getting around to some serious decorating and re-organizing.  I started with the kitchen since it has the least amount of "big" projects.  So far I've revamped the command center and open shelves with baskets and decorations, added some things above the cabinets and re-organized cabinets and drawers.  The best part is the pull-out pantry Keenan built for me.  Heaven!  I still have some more to go, but it's coming together!  Now I have to switch gears as we're preparing to move the kids rooms around as soon as Ari's out of school.  More to come!

Yes, I realize the letters look like they say "FAT," but I promise you it's supposed to say "EAT."  Like I said, still more to go!

I need to paint the "DRINK" letters and find a couple more things to fill in the other end of the cabinets.  Oh, the fan over the sink is new too!

And the piece de resistance - the pantry!  Doors closed...

...and pulled out.

Gymnastics Girl

Back in January (really?!?) I found a Groupon for a local gymnastics place for Keira to try.  She loved it and it gave us a bit more structure to our weekly schedule.  We signed on for February as well, but by March she was getting burned out and we had a lot of extra things on our plate, so we took a break.  Our schedule's open again so we thought one more month would get us through until summer.  We switched days which means she has a new coach and he works her really hard.  She hasn't complained and has been eating and sleeping better!  This place has pretty reasonable camp prices so I'm hoping to sign Keira and Ari up for a week mid-summer.

Keira has taken to dressing Asher for me.  About half-way through her gymnastics class last week, I realized his pants were on backwards!  Oh well!
