Picture Preview

Last weekend we had our friends Jessica, Chris and Jacob out for a visit. Chris was kind enough to take a bunch of pictures for us (he's starting his own photography business!) and they came out great! We'll be using some for our cards this year and of course ordering many prints. Until then, here's a sample (click on the picture for a larger view).



We leave Saturday for a week in Denver. I found some great airfare so we'll be flying which I think will be the better choice than driving all around. I'll be sure to post some pic's when we get back. Have a Happy Thanksgiving! :)

Halloween Part II

We had a great end to our Halloween week. I convinced Ari to get into his full costume after telling him he wouldn't get candy if he didn't. We practiced trick-or-treating once at our house before heading out to 2 of our neighbors. Of course, once we were in public he wouldn't say the magic words, but got his candy anyway. Back at home he counted his loot and enjoyed 2 pieces of chocolate (we gave him one and you'll see how he got the other one in the video). I think his favorite part was handing out candy to the other kids. He would see them coming up the walk and yell "Trick-or-treats comin'!" then run to the door and grab a handful of candy. Once again, he clamed up once they were actually at the door and we had to coax him into handing over the goods. We had some good laughs as he ran around the living room hyped up on candy then he crashed at 8:30 and slept almost 12 hours.

Last night was our party. We had a smaller turn-out than usual and most people didn't even dress up - boo! It was still fun and the weather was great. The kids played on the teeter totter while the adults talked and ate. I didn't really take many pictures of the party and the ones I did take weren't that great. Oh well.
