Halloween Party!

We resumed our annual Halloween Party Saturday after taking last year off. We had a great turn out with some great costumes. Ari was a bit overwhelmed by all the extra people around and confused by the costumes. He eventually warmed up and had a great time. Snap Shot Driver rocked an acoustic set and Karaoke was a hit! Spaz-in' Out

We had an impromptu night on the town last night! One of Keenan's band-mates told us about this band The Spazmatics and they were playing last night in Ft. Worth. At first just a few people were going then it snowballed into the whole band, their wives and a couple other people. I was just going to stay home with Ari (the show didn't start until 9:30!), but started feeling left out :( I called our neighbor who stays up late and happens to have a crib for her grandbabies. She was more than happy to have Ari come sleep there for a few hours while we went out. I was so glad I made the call and went. Not only did I enjoy an adult evening out with some tastey adult beverages, but the band was AWESOME! It turns out they're an 80's cover band - my favortie music!! They are the whole package - costumes, skits and great music. If you ever get a chance to see them live - do it! Unfortunately, right now they only play in Austin, Houston and Ft. Worth. But seriously, it's worth the trip. Here's their band photo in full costume:



I'm also "spaz-in' out" because tomorrow is the dreaded 3-0 day for me. Actually, I'm a bit numb about it. I think I have too many other things on my mind for it to sink in right now. All I know is I'm sleeping in tomorrow and Keenan's on Ari duty :)

Playhouse Fun!

Our friends gave us the playhouse their kids have outgrown. Now that Ari is more mobile we let him try it out. He loves it! :)
