Tea for Two ... or Six

A friend of ours found a Groupon for a local tea party shop for Mommies and their daughters.  It was for 2 Mommies and 2 girls so she asked if Keira and I would like to join them.  Keira was on board with the idea, but I wasn't sure how she'd handle it once there.  The package included tea, cupcakes, dress-up, and an up-do and mani for the girls.  The day finally came this past Tuesday.  Even though there was pink and frill everywhere you turned, they also had a nice sized trunk full of non-girly dress-up clothes and fun nail polish colors, like green, to choose from.  Asher and our friend's other daughter (who is Asher's age) were able to tag along.  It was quite the special day!

A Long Weekend Visit

My parents came out for a visit this past weekend.  Ari had Monday off from school and Keenan was off from work so we were all able to spend lots of time together.  We hadn't planned much ahead of time, so we mostly stuck around home - eating at a local Mexican restaurant for dinner, going shopping, going to church and visiting three different parks.  The weather was beautiful and we all had tons of fun!
