Every-other-year two family friends of ours make a trip to Branson for vacation. A few years ago some dear friends of ours moved there giving us one more reason to make the trip north. The drive itself was long since Asher still doesn’t care much for being in his car seat that long. But, the scenery as we left Fayetteville for Branson more than made up for it.
We spent our first evening and first full day with the Branson Bilberries. Their girls are about the same age as Ari and Keira and all four got along wonderfully! They showed us around town along the scenic roads and we did some shopping and eating at The Landing.

After The Landing, we met up with our Texas friends at the fish hatchery. Keira and Asher both fell asleep on the way and missed the whole adventure.

Here fishy, fishy!
On our second full day we met our Texas friends at Silver Dollar City. We all had so much fun and I’m still amazed at how well our kids did for being so young! Ari was able to ride many of the rides, Keira rode the ones she could and even napped in the stroller and Asher was happy as he could be getting passed around and napping in the stroller too. With all the help around Keenan and I got to ride some of the bigger rides and everyone always had a buddy to go on a ride. The day was humid, but overcast making it not so hot. All-in-all a perfect day!
We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation and can’t wait to go back in two years!

Yea a two year tradition. I like the sound of that! Ari looks so tiny and cute on those rides. We really enjoyed spending time with your precious family. Enjoyed getting to meet Asher. He is such a GOOD little baby. Maybe next year we'll make it our turn to come visit you guys:) But first a little camping adventure. Already can't wait.
